About Me!

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and the work I do. My name is Louise, and I’m the founder of KSM Minds—a name inspired by my three children: Khairi, Sanaa, and Menen. It also stands for Kreating Strong Motivated Minds, reflecting the heart of my mission.

The journey that led to the creation of KSM Minds began in 2018, when my 8-year-old son experienced blatant racism at school. He was told he couldn’t sit at the dinner table because he is Black. Hearing my son’s painful experience brought back memories of my own childhood and made me determined to take action—not just to support him but to educate others and inspire change.

I quickly realised that many schools and organisations lacked the tools, confidence, and knowledge to address these critical issues. Fuelled by my passion for conversation and meaningful dialogue, I designed bespoke programs to guide schools and organisations on their anti-racism journey.

Since founding KSM Minds, I’ve partnered with numerous schools, working closely with them over extended periods. Acting as a critical friend, I’ve helped create deeper awareness of how racism manifests in various forms, facilitated open and honest discussions about race and racism among staff and students, and improved support for Black and Black mixed-heritage children, as well as their families, in the aftermath of racist incidents.

As a proud mother of three vibrant and active children, I spend my evenings and weekends cheering them on at practices, competitions, and matches. When I’m not fulfilling my role as their taxi driver and biggest fan, you’ll likely find me at home, immersed in a book or a thought-provoking documentary.
